Bring Your Own Group to Uluru: A Private Deep Listening to Nature Experience
There is something special about experiencing Central Australia with people you already know.
A group of friends.
A family.
A yoga or meditation community.
A leadership, coaching or facilitated group.
Rather than joining one of our scheduled retreats, you can bring your own group and experience a private Deep Listening to Nature journey through Uluru and Central Australia.
A proven journey, held privately for your group
Over many years of guiding in Central Australia, I have developed a rhythm and structure that allows people to experience this extraordinary landscape slowly and deeply.
A private group experience follows that established Deep Listening to Nature approach.
Depending on the journey, it may include time at Uluṟu, Kata Tjuṯa, Watarrka and other places within Central Australia, with space for walking, listening, rest, conversation and simply being on Country.
The intention is not to rush from attraction to attraction.
It is to give people time to arrive.
To notice.
To listen.
And to experience the landscape as something far more than scenery.
For groups who want to experience Country differently
These private journeys can work beautifully for:
friends and family travelling together
yoga, healers, tantric practitioners, feng shui, and meditation communities
leadership coaches and facilitators bringing an existing group
communities wanting to share a meaningful experience together
You don't need to design the retreat yourself.
Deep Listening to Nature provides the journey, guiding and overall structure.
Where it makes sense, there may be room for your own group conversations, practices or sessions within the program, without losing the spaciousness and integrity of the experience.
Guided with knowledge and respect
I am an accredited Uluṟu–Kata Tjuṯa guide, with accreditation in cultural knowledge for tour guides and a Certificate IV in Tour Guiding with an Indigenous focus.
My role is to help people experience Central Australia with greater awareness of Country, place and appropriate local protocols.
Where Aṉangu-led cultural experiences are available and appropriate, they may also form part of the journey, with cultural knowledge always shared by the people to whom it belongs.
The practical side is taken care of too
Depending on the experience, Deep Listening to Nature can coordinate many of the practical elements of the journey, including accommodation, transport, park entry, selected meals and local experiences.
That means the person bringing the group does not need to become the tour organiser as well.
You bring your people.
We hold the journey.
Is a private Uluru experience right for your group?
A private Deep Listening to Nature journey is particularly suited to groups who want:
more depth than an ordinary sightseeing itinerary
a slower and more spacious experience of Central Australia
an experienced guide who knows the region
time together away from everyday life
an experience grounded in listening, connection and respect for Country
If that sounds like your group, the first step is a conversation.
Tell us a little about who you would like to bring and when you are considering travelling.
